Founder & CEO
Coach Chuck
Coach Chuck is constantly in the community implementing ways to help our youth be successful. He continues to be the change he wants to see in the community. Coach Chuck founded Showtime Athletics in 2011 as a complement to his mentor program DYPE (Developing Youth through Positive Examples). DYPE was founded in 2009 by Coach Chuck as a partnership with Johnston County Schools. The program provided mentor services for students at Cooper Elementary and Riverwood Middle. Showtime was added as a component to keep the students occupied after school hours.
Along with Showtime, Coach Chuck participated as a volunteer coach at Johnston Community College. Coach Chuck was co-owner of the Carolina Gladiators and sole owner of the Johnston County NightHawks minor league professional teams.
As a former player, Coach Chuck is familiar with the struggles of trying to get noticed and finding the proper resources to assist with getting recruited. You can find more of Coach Chuck's contributions at datshowtime.com.
